We’re growing rapidly, and we’re looking for a Regional Sales Manager to join our team.
What does the job entail?
We’re building a brand-new team, so we’ll ask you to wear a few hats. Your primary responsibility will be to identify new prospects and close new business, though we’ll also ask you to maintain and nurture your customer relationships. Since we are growing rapidly, there is also the potential for this role to evolve and take on additional leadership responsibilities.
What does the successful candidate “look like”?
We’re a fast-paced start-up, so we need versatile self-starters who can hit the ground running. We’re not overly hung up on whether you have sold blockchain technology in the past, but we are focused on hiring those with a learning mindset and are comfortable working in a rapidly evolving environment.
We don’t expect to find someone that is a perfect match to the details below, but here are the typical bullet points that we’re hoping you bring to the table:
- 10+ years of high tech sales experience, and ideally have a solid history of selling IT infrastructure, Cloud, Storage Software and/or Storage Hardware to large enterprise customers.
- A proven history of successfully closing complex, multi-layered deals.
- An ability to travel throughout North America as necessary.
- An ability to transition between hunter and farmer as warranted.
- A great sense of humour :).
In a perfect world, you’d also have:
- Experience developing and closing new business within a start-up environment.
- Sales leadership experience and an ability to lead others while maintaining and over-exceeding your quota.

The first step is a conversation with Pivot and Edge. They’ll focus on the human side of things and answer any questions you may have. From there, we’ll provide an opportunity for those that exhibit a high potential to be successful in our environment to demonstrate their technical capabilities and then talk shop with some of our engineers and leaders. Assuming you’re one of our finalists, we’ll be sure to give you a tour of the office and introduce you to some of your future teammates.
